The surprise
Step 1.1
The opening question
“Are you ready for a surprise?” with “Yes, show me!” under it. It exists so the proposal is not the first thing on screen — give them the beat.
The scrapbook
Step 2.1
At least one photo is required
The builder stops you: “Add at least one photo to continue.” This is the one place the template will not let you skip ahead.
Step 2.2
Captions dated like diary entries
The placeholder is “the day you said hi first 🐱”. Written as a moment rather than a label, they carry the whole middle of the page.
The ask
Step 3.1
Customise the wording
“Will you be my forever?” is the default; the button says “YES! 💖”. Both are editable, and using your own words matters more here than anywhere else on the site.
Step 3.2
There is no way to say no
The YES grows each time they dodge. Know that before you build it — this is a keepsake of a question you have already had answered, not a question being asked for real.
Worth being clear-eyed about. If the answer is genuinely uncertain, a page that refuses to accept no is the wrong instrument.
After the yes
Step 4.1
The confirmation, and a secret note
“You are officially mine forever ❤️”, and a Secret Note tab holding “Say the thing you've been rehearsing…”. That last field is the one to write slowly.

A song, if you have one
There is an audio URL — the placeholder is “https://…/our-song.mp3”.

Tell the whole world
A share control for afterwards, if they want it public.
