- β’ Building and sharing a page needs no payment and no card; what an upgrade adds is not in SubhSandesh's first-party data, so this post does not state it.
- β’ 40.0% of creators password-protect a page before sharing it (1,809 of 4,524) β a platform-wide rate across all page types, not a proposal-specific one.
- β’ The median first-save to last-edit gap is 6.3 hours, sampled on the /love-gf template (n=1,136), so plan on more than one sitting.

Online Proposal Maker Free for Girlfriend: What You Get
An online proposal maker for a girlfriend is a web page you build in a browser and send as one link β her name, your photos, the question, and a button she taps to answer. Search "online proposal maker free for girlfriend" and about half of page one is business software; this post is the other half.
On SubhSandesh, 4,524 personalised pages have been created since 12 March 2026 across 16 page types, and 92.9% of the pages people start (4,204 of 4,524) are actually published and shared rather than abandoned half-built. You can build a page and send the link without paying and without entering a card; what an upgrade adds is not in our own first-party data, so this post flags what it cannot verify instead of guessing.
Why a "proposal maker" search returns sales software
Half of page one is business software: tools for client quotes, statements of work and RFP responses. Checked on 17 September 2026, the top ten split almost evenly β about five B2B document builders that never once use the word "girlfriend", and about five small romantic link generators.
The reason is that "proposal" is two unrelated words wearing one spelling. In business it means a priced offer; in a relationship it means a question. Document builders have years of domain authority behind the commercial sense, so they rank on the word alone even when the searcher typed "for girlfriend".
The tell: if a page mentions e-signatures, quote tables, templates "that get signed", or a per-seat monthly plan, close it. Nothing there will help you ask anyone anything.
Which question are you actually asking?
"For girlfriend" is doing a lot of quiet work in this keyword, and it points at two different pages. One is will you be my girlfriend β she is not yet, and you are asking. The other is will you marry me β she already is, and you are proposing.
Picking the wrong one is the most common mistake in this category. A marriage-proposal scrapbook sent to someone who has not agreed to a first date reads as alarming, not romantic. A three-line "be mine" card sent to a partner of six years reads as thin.
Our own numbers say most people are in the first camp. The "I love you" page is the most-created template on SubhSandesh β 1,136 pages, 25.1% of everything created, and 16,345 views, 31.9% of all page views.
If your question is "will you be my girlfriend", the romantic "I love you" page is the honest fit. If you are actually proposing marriage, the Will You Marry Me proposal scrapbook is the one built for it β your story told in scenes, ending in a YES button that grows every time she dodges it.
What "free" actually covers, and what we cannot tell you
Every tool in this category leads with "free", and the word does different jobs on different sites. Here is ours.
You can build a page, put your photos and text on it, publish it and send the link without paying and without a card. That is what the 92.9% publish-and-share rate measures β 4,204 of 4,524 started pages reaching a recipient.
What we will not print is a tier table. The price section of our own first-party data file is empty β the one section not derivable from the database, and never filled in by hand.
So: you can build and send without paying, and we cannot tell you today where paid features begin. Check the template page itself before you start, not after you have written six paragraphs to her.
Five things to put on the page
These five elements are what the page is made of. Each is listed the same way: what it is, why it works, how long it takes, and the mistake people make.
1. Her name, spelled the way you say it
What it is: the first line she sees, using the name you actually call her, not the one on her Aadhaar card. Why it works: a personalised opening is the cheapest signal that the page was made for one person.
How long: thirty seconds. The mistake: a nickname that only works out loud and reads badly written down.
2. Three to five photos, in order
What it is: a short sequence β the first photo together, one in the middle, one recent. Why it works: a 2022 five-experiment study in Humanities and Social Sciences Communications found experiential gifts elicited greater gratitude than material ones, mediated by how meaningful the memory felt.
How long: ten minutes of scrolling your gallery. The mistake: twenty photos. Three good ones beat twenty.
3. One specific memory, written out
What it is: 60β120 words about a real evening, with the date and the place in it. Why it works: specificity is unforgeable β anyone can write "you mean everything to me", nobody else can write what she said at the Marine Drive bus stop in July.
How long: twenty minutes, and it is the part worth rewriting. The mistake: general praise instead of one concrete scene.
4. The question, on its own screen
What it is: the actual sentence, alone, with nothing else competing for attention. Why it works: the page has been building to it, and a question buried under a paragraph loses the moment.
How long: five minutes. The mistake: asking twice, in two different wordings, in case the first was unclear.
5. A way for her to answer
What it is: a button, a reply box, or a notification back to you when she opens it. Why it works: a proposal with no answer mechanism becomes an awkward WhatsApp follow-up.
How long: it is built in. The mistake: sending the link and then immediately texting "did you open it".
How a proposal page compares to the alternatives
This table compares the three things people actually choose between in India. The first-party column is ours, measured 16 September 2026.
| Option | Cost to send | Time to make | Privacy control | SubhSandesh data |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shareable proposal page | No payment, no card | 30β60 minutes | Password before sharing | 40.0% of all 4,524 pages are password-protected |
| Long WhatsApp message | None | 15 minutes | None β screenshot-able instantly | Not applicable |
| Printed card or photo album | Paid per copy, plus courier | 2β5 days including shipping | Physical, private by default | Not applicable |
The honest read: a printed album still wins on permanence and for a recipient who barely uses a phone. The page wins on speed, on privacy, and on opening cleanly for the 48.9% of views that happen on a phone (25,008 of 51,164).
Lock the link, and give yourself more than one sitting
A proposal link is the one link you cannot afford to have forwarded. Screenshot into the wrong group chat and the moment is gone.
Across the whole platform β every page type, not proposals specifically β 40.0% of creators password-protect the page before sharing it, 1,809 of 4,524. No proposal-specific rate exists: the per-template breakdown was not obtainable for this post, so treat 40.0% as the platform-wide figure it is. Set a password she can guess and nobody else can, and send it in the same message as the link.
On timing: the median gap between a page's first save and its last edit is 6.3 hours, sampled on the "I love you" template (n=1,136) rather than on proposals. Start it, leave it, fix the memory paragraph when you are less nervous. If you are aiming at Propose Day, get the year right β Propose Day 2027 falls on Monday, 8 February 2027, the week before Valentine's Day, and several pages ranking for this query still carry a 2025 date in their titles.
If you are late, the research is reassuring. A 2024 Journal of Consumer Psychology paper found that gift givers systematically overestimate the relationship harm of a late gift, and that the overestimation shrinks when the giver signals care another way β explicitly including the effort put into creating the gift. A page you built by hand is that signal.
When an online proposal page is the wrong choice
Three cases, and we lose all three. A link is the wrong instrument in each one.
She is in the room. Say it out loud. A link handed to someone sitting next to you is a worse version of a sentence.
She would find it embarrassing. Some people hate a produced moment, and the effort that makes the page feel special to you is not automatically visible to her. A 2025 European Journal of Marketing study found that givers rate choosing a good gift as more important than recipients do β which is how well-meant effort ends up mismatched with what the recipient wanted. (We read only the published abstract; the full text is paywalled.)
You are hoping effort substitutes for readiness. The classic IKEA effect study showed that people who build something themselves value it far above what others do, and expect others to share that opinion β labour leads to love, but mostly the builder's love. And a 2025 study in Humanities and Social Sciences Communications found that greater effort produces greater pain when a gift fails, because higher effort raises the giver's expectation and sharpens the rejection when it does not land.
So build the page because you want to ask her properly, not because forty minutes of work will change her answer. It will not. If the answer is uncertain, have the conversation first and make the page afterwards, when it is a celebration rather than a gamble.
