A letter that falls out of the sky, one line at a time
The letter is written onto falling objects. They catch them with their own face on the screen, and each catch adds another line. There are things to dodge, but nothing is ever locked — a miss just means the line comes round again.

Step 1.1
Write it onto things
That is the builder's own instruction. Each object carries a line, so the letter has to break into pieces that survive being read one at a time.
Step 1.2
The last line is its own field
Its placeholder is “the line you'd want them to read last…”. Write the ending first; everything else can be arranged around it.

Step 2.1
A name and what it says
“The things, and what they say” — each one is named (“name it”) and carries its line. Add another thing extends the letter.

Step 3.1
The petty thing
That is the placeholder, and it tells you exactly what belongs here — the small grievances, falling alongside the letter. Dodging them is the joke.
Nothing can be lost
Step 4.1
Missed lines come back
The template is explicit: nothing is ever locked, every catch just adds another line. There is a Play again, and a “Play it instead” route for people who would rather not read.
Worth saying when you send it — a game where you can fail would make a letter you might never finish. This one cannot be failed, which is why it can carry something serious.
