Recharge the relationship — pick a plan, pay, keep the receipt
A prepaid recharge for a relationship, on a payment sheet that looks exactly like the real one: a number, a grid of plans with validity and benefits, a promo code, an order summary, and a transaction receipt stamped SUCCESS. The receipt is where the actual message lives.
Step by step
The written walkthrough
Everything the video covers, in a form you can search, scan and keep open in another tab.
The number
Step 1.1
Recharge for — whose number it is
The first screen names who is being recharged. It is the line that makes the rest of the interface read as being about a person rather than a phone.
The plans
Step 2.1
Validity is the field to write carefully
Every plan carries a validity. “Unlimited”, “until you say otherwise”, “28 days, renewable forever” — the joke is in the small print of a plan grid, not in the price.
Step 2.2
ALREADY ACTIVE is a state you can use
One plan can be marked as already active, which is a better joke than any of the ones for sale.
Paying
Step 3.1
An order summary and a promo code
ORDER SUMMARY, PAY USING, and a promo field with APPLY. A working promo code is worth setting up — it is the one interaction where they get something for guessing.
Step 3.2
The don't-press-back gag
The processing screen says “Do not press back or refresh” and “This may take a moment. Please keep this page open.” If they press back anyway it says “I said do not.”
The receipt
Step 4.1
This is where the message goes
TRANSACTION RECEIPT, Status SUCCESS, RECHARGED, “Recharged for …”. Everything before it is set-dressing; the receipt is the part they screenshot.
Step 4.2
Recharge Again
They can run it as many times as they like, which is the sweetest thing in the template.
Your turn
About 4 minutes, and it is done.
You do not need an account to start — you are asked to sign in once, at the moment you publish.
Open RechargeQuestions
What people ask about this one
Where does my actual message go?
On the transaction receipt at the end. The plan grid and the payment sheet are the set-up; the receipt is what they keep.
Should I set a promo code?
Yes if you can think of a good one. It is the only place they get rewarded for typing something, and APPLY is right there on the payment sheet.
What makes a good plan?
The validity, not the price. A plan grid is funny when the small print is specific — “28 days, renewable forever” beats any number.
Can they do it more than once?
Yes, there is a Recharge Again on the receipt.
