Give the relationship its own account

A social profile for the two of you rather than either of you: a handle, a bio, follower stats, story highlights, a grid of posts with captions, and comments from friends who are enjoying it far too much.

    Step by step

    The written walkthrough

Everything the video covers, in a form you can search, scan and keep open in another tab.

    01

    The profile

    Step 1.1

The handle is the first joke

The placeholder is “us_since_2023”. The display name is both of you — “Ananya & Rohan” — and the category line is “Domestic partnership”.

    Step 1.2

A profile card you can save

Save profile card exports it as an image, separately from the link.

    02

    The grid

    Step 2.1

    Posts with captions and places

The placeholders show the shape — “Bandra, Mumbai”, “first date”. A location on a post does more than a paragraph.

    03

    Story highlights

    Step 3.1

The named circles under the bio

“the-shared-album” is the placeholder. They are the fastest way to give the profile a history without writing more posts.

    04

    The comments

    Step 4.1

Written from the group chat's point of view

The commenter placeholders are “mom, her_mom, the_group_chat” and “her_mom”, with “2 years ago” timestamps. Writing them as the people who would actually comment is what makes the profile feel real.

    Step 4.2

    Liked by

A likes line to fill in, in the same voice.

    Your turn

About 5 minutes, and it is done.

You do not need an account to start — you are asked to sign in once, at the moment you publish.

    Questions

What people ask about this one

    Whose account is it?

The relationship's, not either person's. The handle placeholder is “us_since_2023” and the display name is both of you.

    Who writes the comments?

You do, in the voice of the people who would be commenting — the template's own placeholders are “mom, her_mom, the_group_chat”.

Can I post it as an image?

Yes — Save profile card exports the profile as a picture.
